Missing the 'Band'.

Click on to enlarge pictureI sure do miss the 'old band "Morningside". We played for a couple of years in high school in Illinois with Pamela Van Slyke, Bill Rampton, Kent Smith and me under the name "The Gentle Breed". Then we played a year or so at York College in York Nebraska as "Morningside", without Pam and with new member Keith Davidson. After that year '73-'74, the guys went on to play at Harding as a three man band (minus Don-me, since I opted to return to ACU to search for my 'Dream Girl'). All in all, it was a magical time. I did serve in three more rock/pop bands, "Glass Apple" at York, "Duel" at ACU in '75 and finally "Lorado" (sounds like 'Colorado' but without the 'Co'). Finally I did some songwriting and produced some solo stuff from '76-'77, but mostly the light was fading. So one last salute to my band mates - "One for All and All for One". Be happy dudes! - Don
