Family and the Joy of a Christmas Plan!
Ahh...the joys of the Season. Family, friends, memories 2000 years old of what made it all possible. The happiness, the company of all we hold dear. What more could a person ask for? And yet we do ask for more don't we?
Have you ever thought about having a Christmas without gifts, parties or the usual fan fare? Have you ever thought about simply being together with family, friends, sisters and brothers for the modest joy of thanking the being who made it all possible? Maybe you have, perhaps you haven't, but at least try to think of the possibilities. No possessions, no materialistic joy; just the warmth of thanking the one who blesses us so very much.
And then there are those families who lost a loved one around this time of year. How do you suppose they celebrate with such sorrow hanging over such a date? I can only imagine that perhaps they think of their dearly departed loved one as looking at them from afar, able to see the loved ones left behind, but not allowing for them to see the departed. So heart breaking unless you know you will be together again.
What ever your case may be, do value the gifts that you already possess for where your treasure is, there your heart will be also. Treasure what has "real" value. Merry Christmas!
